Would you also like to meet new people rather than just internet chatting writing emails to people who may perhaps not quite be who they say they are? Do you want to meet unattached men or women who have the confidence to meet new people face to face?
Some people will feel negative about the whole idea of meeting other singles - although probably not you if you are reading this! However, it is quite natural to find it hard to be upbeat and positive sometimes, isn't it? In my coaching sessions, I don't try too hard to get people to be positive - simply to have an open mind.
Who goes to Singles Days? Real people who don't just want to chat anonymously on the internet (nothing wrong with that, of course). Yes, it can take a little courage - new situations often do, but you'll be made to feel most welcome and there will be lots to see and do. Some people may well feel a little nervous (we're all human!), but you'll soon see that there is a warm and relaxed atmosphere and that everyone will be as willing to chat as you are!
The men who come are the ones with an open mind and a certain sense of adventure. Some men feel intimidated by the idea that people might think less of them because they are not currently in a relationship. Perhaps such men lack the self esteem to look in the mirror and "admit" who they are or to take action to change a situation they would like to change. The men who turn up to singles events will, at least, have a certain amount of the confidence and - yes - courage that women like to see in a man. Those men who would prefer to sit at home and watch telly or get wasted in the pub may not be great partners!
